Rania and Dimitris live permanently in England. Their wish was to have their wedding and the baptism of their son in Sifnos, where they had met!!! Ih the island where white meets blue and simplicity becomes luxury. Thus, a wedding and a baptism were planned based on the natural harmony and island purity, where the aesthetics of the decoration were inspired by the landscape of the island: the soft blue of the sea, the off-white textures of the Cycladic churches and the discreet movement of the pampas in the air.
In the mystery, the entrance to the church was dressed with airy fabrics in shades of ecru and sky blue, gently tied with floral arrangements of blue and sky blue hydrangeas, pink and white roses, eucalyptus and dried elements. The compositions embraced the architecture of the space without altering it, creating a calm, bright setting that was completely in tune with the environment of Sifnos. The decoration of the baptismal font followed the same color palette, with blue and white flowers, pampas and thin ribbons in shades of blue, giving a soft, almost poetic character to the baptism. Every detail was designed to exude care and natural elegance, without exaggeration.
At Fasolu, where the reception took place, the tables were set with white linen, letting the light and materials take center stage. The flowers – with blue hydrangeas, pink and white flowers and green touches, were placed in vintage glass vases creating a sense of freshness and unpretentious elegance, the candles and the simple lines of the tables composed a light and welcoming setting, ideal for a summer island celebration.
The candy bar was a happy and playful note, inspired by the sea and summer. Shades of blue, white and red were harmoniously combined, with nautical elements, balloons and flowers that continued the same floral concept. A spot full of color and vibrancy, which discreetly connected the wedding with the baptism and brought smiles to young and old guests.
The overall result was authentic, bright and completely connected to Sifnos. A setting where the wedding and baptism were united in a natural way, through flowers, textures and colors that spoke the language of the island and joy.
